October 11- Jerusalem Double Event 1, 7:30 pm at Damascus Gate
Backgammon: A centuries old game, uniting people from different backgrounds. Come to compete, to watch friends play, or to enjoy the live music, with performances by Ramzi and the Shovav.
The event is open to the public free of charge.
October 18- Jerusalem Double Event 2, 7:30 pm at Muristan Square
Come experience our celebrated Jerusalem Double backgammon tournaments, where people from across Jerusalem’s religious and political spectrum come together to enjoy this classic Middle Eastern game. The tournament will be accompanied by live music from Yoni Sharon and the Akko Debka Group.
The event is open to the public free of charge.
October 25- Jerusalem Double Event 3, 7:30 pm at the New Gate
What could be better than meeting new people, playing backgammon, and listening to great music? Come to our Jerusalem Double game, where fun acts as a catalyst for creating a shared society. The music will be provided by the Footsteps Band.
The event is open to the public, free of charge.
November 5, Jerusalem Double Finale with 5,000 NIS Prize for the Tournament Winner, 6 pm at Habonim Garden:
Want to win a 5,000 NIS prize? Want to play some backgammon? Then sign up to play in our Tournament Finale. Don’t feel like playing? Come for the music and the festive atmosphere, with a special concert by the Lips featuring Kobi Oz and Ayman Sabawi.
Entrance is free of charge; there is a 20 NIS fee to compete in the tournament for the 5,000 NIS prize.
