Person to person, face to face, heart to heart. With 5,000 years of history in the region, backgammon provides the perfect combination of luck, sophistication and popularity – the ideal medium for positive encounters between those of East and West Jerusalem. Since our opening event in the 2016 summer, we haved hosted 20 festive tournaments with hundreds of players, many more spectators, and performances by the best Arab and Middles Eastern bands. In the 2017 summer, the first Jerusalem Backgammon Champion was crowned after a lively final in the Old City.
