Every week, we volunteer at the pediatric unit at Hadassh Ein Kerem hospital. All the children and their families, Jewish and Arab, are dealing with the same challenges.
But this week was special: In honor of Ramadan,we handed out toys to the children, and watched the smiles light up their faces.
We are grateful to the incredibly dedicated staff of the Hadassah school for hospitalized children, as well as to our partners the Menino Bom capoeira group, who led the activity, and topped the event off with a wonderful performance that thrilled passers-by.
